Past projects include: the Quesnel Airport in 2000, the Prince George Airport in 2001 and 2008-2009, and the Vanderhoof Airport in 2006.
Pittman Asphalt was recognized by the Ministry of Transportation for our exceptional service, receiving the Deputy Minister Contractor Award in 2008 as a co-finalist with LB Paving, and again in 2012. As a leader in green technology, we were recognized for our responsible practices by the National Asphalt Pavement Association—for three years in a row we received the Diamond Achievement Commendation for Excellence in Hot-Mix Asphalt Plant/Site Operation.
Since the early 80s, Quesnel Paving has provided road construction services, aggregate production and snow removal for residential, commercial and industrial clients in the Quesnel area.
In 2011, as a result of upgrades that we made to our plant, we received the Diamond Achievement Commendation from the National Asphalt Pavement Association in Asphalt Plant/Site Operations as recognition of our recent plant upgrades and dedication to upholding our responsible operational practices.
